This weekend retreat offers an introduction to a series of programs that teach holistic skills to nurses.
During the past few decades the nursing profession has undergone major changes and challenges with a growing dependency on technology and pharmaceuticals and a moving away from it’s roots as a healing art, but today many nurses are searching to reconnect to the art and science of holistic nursing by seeking new knowledge and skills that facilitate the healing process. Many are also seeking new directions for establishing expanded practices that promote wellness and self-care.
Today, as a new paradigm of integrative health care emerges within hospitals, communities, and in the private sector, nurses are in the unique position to become leaders in a new nursing model; as health coaches, mentors and educators.
This weekend program will empower nurses to move beyond burnout and frustration and develop their potential in both their personal wellness and in creating new models for health promotion.
This program provides a strong theoretical and experiential component, deepening inner wisdom and knowledge and providing participants with a renewed sense of meaning and purpose in their professional work and personal lives.
